I am in the DEI space, have been so for close to 35 years, I live in Chestertown but my work takes me across the nation in what started out as a job and became a mission for a more inclusive legal profession. I have no qualms who may attack me, I welcome them to try as whom ever they may be and don’t have a foot to stand on. These times are hard but not as hard as it was for my parents who lived in Jim Crow in the south. Because of their courage, they raised my brother, sister and I in Berkeley California, looking back, it was the foundation for what I do now. We as elders can not stand by and be silent, we must stand with each other to bring the US back to its ideals, not a nation where “mediocre white men” are trying return us all backwards. Thank you again, appreciate you greatly.
