Unfortunately, Mr Sarvis wrote this article a few days before several young children under the age of 8 were deported. This barbaric and ruthless action should also be brought to the attention of the public. Our present government is spoiling us for choice when it comes to deciding which of these actions are the most unpatriotic and dangerous.

However, hoping for change and standing by to clean up the mess after the fact isn’t the answer.

The only sure way to effect change is at the ballot box. We have the opportunity to put a stop to the Trump/Musk madness in 2026 by recruiting and supporting candidates of like minds and values and getting out the vote to recoup local, state and federal office seats held by Trump enablers. That work needs to start now.
