Imagine our surprise when we discovered that it would cost $8 for a round trip. I go to the YMCA twice a week. That’s $16 plus gas. There is a road that would allow locals to get around without exorbitant tolls(Edgar Price Rd.), but the state stripped the surface and refuses to repave it (probably at the behest of the residents). Also, there are rumors that trucks get off at 313 and get on 213 in Galena to avoid the tolls.
