Beryl, love your optimistic question! How I wish we
had a team of patriots who only cared for what our nation is : a democracy for all.
We do not. And I will lay the blame on the Citizen’s United SCOTUS decision which allow any corporation to
give $$$$$$$ as if they are “a person.” Huge mistake which, in my view, is a reason Trump is President and our democracy is on the way out.

Now we have the richest man in the world telling any MOC who opposes anything Trump does, he will put so much money in opposing them that they will loose if they do not stay the course with Trump.
Look at the million dollar rewards in Wisconsin he gives for voting his way. It is sick and unimaginable,
yet welcome to 2025.

This is a nightmare for anyone who cares for our nation.
this is the time to fight. It sounds so cheesy, i know, but there are many more of us if we all would wake the F up and not worry about offending clients, golf friends, tennis friends, business friends, college
friends, business friends, future business people and those we love to have for lovely dinner parties. You name it, stick your name out there and stand by democracy. At least you can live with yourself in the end.

I pose this question now. If, as reported, there are many Republicans who are secretly voicing their disapproval of this administration but are afraid to say what they feel out loud, and there are many Democrats who want to change the course of events, is there a way for them to resolve their differences and move forward to an acceptable conclusion. Cannot support for those fearful of losing their seat be exchanged for a show of strength on the other side? Called a bit of a hornswoggle–I give you my support for X if you get off your fear and get this administration on a course that will not shred all that we as citizens of this country hold dear?
